Foil board (often called *Metpol* or metallised polyester laminated board) is created by bonding an ultra-thin layer of vacuum-metallised aluminum film onto solid bleached sulfate paperboard.
### How Printing on Foil Board Works:
1. Full-Mirror Surface: The entire board reflects light like polished chrome or liquid silver.
2. Opaque White Ink Layer (Selective Sheen): The printer lays down opaque white ink over areas intended to look like standard matte paper (such as background text and photos).
